We manufacture Hub Studs in grade 10.9 using high quality alloy and carbon steel material for tower assembly in the wind energy sector, We also manufacture fasteners in 8.8 & 12.9 grade as per customer needs. Our Hub Studs are used extensively in the on shore and offshore areas in the wind energy sector in India, Europe, and USA. Hub Studs are manufactured as per European and American standard in PLAIN, Black and hot dip galvanised (HDG) finish, wherever applicable we can also provide these bolts in special coatings like PTFE, Geomet and Dacromet finish.
We can provide Studs fitted with heat shrink or rigid plastic debonding sleeves.
What is Wind turbine Hub & Stud?
The hub of the wind turbine is the component that connects the blades to the main shaft and ultimately to the rest of the drive train. The hub transmits and must withstand all the loads generated by the blades.
Hub Stud Bolts are non headed bolts, these are in form of a rod and have threads at both ends. They are used to connect blades of turine to Hubs. These stud bolts are generally used in wind turbine blade assembly to hub of turbine. Also stud bolts provided with Cross nuts for hub assembly. These stud bolts are manufactured by us in carbon steel. Popular carbon steel grades 8.8, 10.9, and 12.9. The requirements for these are mentioned in the International standard ISO 898-1.
