We are the leading fastener and component suppliers for Sub Sea Piping. We have wide range of products as per requirements.
The Low alloy steel with effective corrosion protection properties is the best choice of sub sea piping & ASTM A320 L7 and ASTM A320 L7M for fasteners manufacturing for subsea piping joints.
Stud bolts are threaded bolts used in Chemical, Oil and Petrochemical Industries for high pressure flange connections. Flanges are fastened together with the help of stud bolts and nuts. The nuts used in the tightening of flanges
are generally of hexagon or heavy hexagon type depending upon the pressure and other piping system requirements. Flange connections are also fastened with traditional solutions like Hex Bolts. Hex bolts are very similar
to stud bolts in terms of threading but have a forged hexagon head. However stud bolts are preferred over hex Bolt because during tightening and toque application, studs do not twist.
ASME B16.5 is primarily the dimensional standard for ASTM Stud bolts. This defines the Dimensional requirement i.e. length and the diameter of stud Bolt to be used for the tightening of flanges. Whereas ASME B1.1 defines the
threading requirements. Most commonly used thread form is the symmetrical V profile thread with 60 degree angle. ASTM standards define every specific criteria starting from Material grade, Heat treatment, Mechanical & Chemical
properties, Stamping, Inspection, acceptance and rejection requirements. The most common grade that we work with is ASTM A 193.
We actively manufacture the following grade of stud bolts:
ASTM A193 Gr B7
"ASTM A193 Gr B7 stud Bolt are manufactured from chromium molybdenum ferritic alloy". (“Stud Bolts India - ASTM A193 B7, B16 - INDANA STEEL”) B7 stud bolt have a standard temperature range of minus 29 degree Celsius
to 427 degree Celsius and are used in flanges of standard ASTM A105. Recommended nuts for b7 stud bolts are grade 2H Hex nuts.
GRADE B7 stud bolts are generally supplied in finishes such as Plain, Blackening, Zinc plated(Electroplated), Cadmium(Yellow), Teflon coating(blue), HDG etc. according to the nature of application and environment.
ASTM A193 B16 Stud Bolts
"Grade B16 stud bolt are used in high temperature & high pressure environment." (“ASTM A193 STUD BOLTS - savoypipinginc.com”) These Stud Bolts are very similar to Grade B7 Stud bolts but the alloy contains an additional
element called Vanadium. Vanadium brings to the alloy high strength and heat resistance which is very critical to Grade B16 as these are used in very high temperature environment. Grade B16 stud bolts can with stand temperatures
up to 537 degree Celsius. Recommended Hex nuts for ASTM A193 B16 stud bolt are Grade 4 or Grade 7 nuts. Grade 4 nuts are slowly being substituted with Grade 7 nuts. Grade 7 nuts have chromium in it which gives it high strength
and increases its corrosion resistance. Grade B16 stud bolts are generally used with ASTM A283 or GrF11,F22 flanges.
SS STUD BOLTS
We manufacture stainless steel ss 304, ss 316, ss316l, ss316 s31 stud bolts in India. Stainless steel ss stud bolts are used in various industries in India. Ss stud bolts are generally corrosion free & are available in various
length & sizes.
Threaded Rods
Threaded rods are used as a fastener & also for various industrial applications. Threaded rods are made from various material like MS threaded rod, ss threaded rod, GI threaded rods, high tensile threaded rods. Threaded rods
are available in various sizes & different length. We also offer various coating on our threaded rods like PTFE, Xylan etc.
Custom bolts & studs for the subsea piping
Sub See industry needs fasteners it can use in flange joint connection during piping installation in sea, and under other conditions that demand high-quality Fasteners.
At Roll-fast , we have a wide range of fasteners which are suitable for this very need. As a leading supplier of Hex Bolt, Full thread stud bolt, double end stud bolts and hex nuts, our fasteners conform to the strictest
ANSI, ASME, BS, European, IS and ISO standards for ideal use in the harsh environments of the Sub Sea.
