A Heavy hex nut is a type of fastener with a threaded hole. Heavy Hex Nuts are almost always used with a mating bolt to fasten multiple parts together. Heavy Hex Nuts are one of the most common nuts available and are used with anchors, bolts, screws, studs, threaded rods and on any other fastener that has machine screw threads. Hex is short form of hexagon, which means they have six sides.
These Heavy Hex Nuts are manufactured by us in Alloy Steel, carbon steel, stainless steel & Duplex Steel. Popular carbon steel grades include A 194 and A 320. Grades include 2, 2H, 2HM, 8, 8M, B8 (Class 1 and 2), A2-50, A2-70, A2-80, SS 316, SS 316S 31 etc. The requirements for these are mentioned in the American standard A 194 and A 320.
